Why We Vote

Let's talk about the why - why different people in our community vote, why you should vote, and why you should bring your friends and family with you.

You should vote. What’s the first thing that comes to mind when you hear that?

For me, I start thinking about common reasons for the flip – to not vote. My vote doesn’t matter. It’s all rigged. The choice is candidates is terrible.

I’m sure you’ve thought these things and maybe even said them to others. And the thing is – you’re not entirely wrong. We’ve seen really bad choices on the ballot. We’ve seen rigged elections happen before. It’s easy to think that one vote – your vote – doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

In spite of all of this, I still believe voting matters.

On this episode, I want to talk about why – why different people in our community vote, why you should vote on November 6th, and why you should bring your friends and family with you to vote.
