Jordan v Reeves

Tennessee State Capitol

With the special primary election wrapped up, we now have our two candidates for the Tennessee Senate District 14 special election.

Here in Lincoln County, Shane Reeves came out ahead of Joe Carr 696-506 (57.90% – 42.10%). With Gayle Jordan running unopposed, it’s Jordan as the Democratic candidate and Reeves as the Republican candidate.

In the coming weeks, we’ll have more information about both candidates to help you make an informed decision. With special elections, low voter turnout often means your vote will have even more of an impact on our community.

If you haven’t yet, make sure to register to vote here! Early voting for the special election starts February 21, 2018 and ends March 8, 2018. Election day will be March 13, 2018.
