Featuring some of your favorite food trucks:
Would’ve been nice to know about this. Being a local Fiod Truck , what’s the deal with that. Not to mention hardly NO one has heard about the event
I’m not sure how the planning of it went. I do know that Scott Collins and Adriane Gay have worked to put it all together. With this being the first food truck rally the city has hosted, there will be some lessons learned around planning, marketing, and execution. Give them a call – 931-433-6154 – and I’m sure they’d be happy to chat with you!
I’m not sure if my first question went through to not so, I’ll ask it again. Why does it appear that all of the listed food trucks are from Huntsville Al. and there are no local vendors? I know a couple of local vendors and they said they would love to participate but were never made aware that this was happening. I also had not heard anything about it until one of them had raised the question if anyone had heard about it.

How is this an event to support local business, yet no local trucks? Pretty sure they could have had “only” local trucks and provided a true community event.
I heard from Adriane this morning that more trucks are being added to that list every day. As soon as I have an updated list, I’ll be sure to update this event page. But I know that any and all food trucks – especially local ones – are welcome! They just need to give the city a call – 931-433-6154 – to get on the list and a spot saved for them.
I am excited for this. I only heard about this today, so if Scott and Adriane needed some feedback (especially if they want this as a monthly thing according to the FB post) I would definitely suggest getting the word out better. I still consider Huntsville local so Im happy to see they have trucks coming. I think it also shows that we are trying to make a step in the right direction with community growth. Hopefully we see our local town vendors there too as well as stores staying open a little later!
Me too! Definitely a few learning lessons around marketing for all those involved. But it’s great to see this happening!
