Backyard Nights – A Storytelling Gathering
March 23 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm
St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church will host a storytelling gathering, ‘Backyard Nights’ on March 23, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Join us in downtown Fayetteville at the corner of Elk and Washington in listening to good old-fashioned tales, some from the past and some made up. And some from the past that are completely made up.
Arrive early and kick back with Floyds Farm Food Truck for farm to table fare. Menu cost is approximately $10 per plate.
Bring family and friends and reminisce about life in middle Tennessee during the ‘good ole days’ and from Aunt Matilda’s last year’s Fourth of July party. Prior to the storytelling gathering, enjoy the mix of shops on the Historic Town Square, a variety of antiques, gifts, and tasty treats.
We will enjoy local amateur tellers from the community. Be sure to settle in, laugh, maybe shed a tear here and there, and create some memories. You won’t want to miss it!
Storytellers: Storytellers: Chase Clemons, Kristen Kindoll, Jim Rutledge, Mike McCowan, Kate Young
